As part of the Horrors of Hexensnacht event, I whipped up some rules for an Old World Dungeon crawler, heavilty inspired by Mordheim, Cursed City and the old Town Cryer vampire crypt scenario.
I did a lot of research into horror based game mechanics, and found it was quite difficult to reproduce this on the tabletop. In the end my favourite part is the random activation order bsaed on player cards, which I stole from the rpg Mothership. It adds a huge amount of tension as you're desperately hoping that you draw your henchman card before the vampire activates.
On the day people enjoyed this a lot, though it took about 2 hours to play through on the first try. Once you get the hang of the rules it will go much faster.
