This winter we ran a follow on from our Manaan's Teeth campaign which concerned the Empress of Westerlund's attempt to reclaim the secessionist district of Southdock.
We ran this as a seven player mega battle set on the docks of Marienburg. It included bridge and boat combat, as well as a parallel skirmish game that took place on the same table at the same time. Absolute madness.
If I were to change anything, I'd give the High Elves a few more points since they were quite underpowered on the offense. It was very much a High Elf D-Day on the docks as they sailed into a blistering barrage of handguns and cannons.
Everyone was very involved in the game, largely since they'd spent so long role playing in this city and with some of the returning characters. It's left me very excited to run more extended campaigns next year, we'll see how that goes!
