At the waning of the year 2270, a sinister power descends on Garban Hold. First peasants, then travelling burgers, and finally the Empress of Westerlund herself whisper one word: ‘Vampire’. As winter grows deepest and Hexensnacht draws near, a grand expedition of mercenaries makes their way up into the foothills of the Grey Mountains to root out the source of this evil and claim the Empress’ bounty for each Vampire slain. Meanwhile, the nascent coven dream of expanding, plotting to bend their strongest foes towards their own dark purpose.
A plucky band of paid off Imperial Mercenaries gather in the snowy mountain passes launch the assault on Garband Hold. What horrors will they find inside? Can they drive off the undead hosts and reclaim he lands for the one true Empress*?
